This statement applies to the BlingSIM website at www.blingsim.com, including the destination and plan pages, checkout, the free eSIM form, the My eSIMs dashboard and our help pages. It was last reviewed on 23 September 2026.
1. Our commitment
BlingSIM, trading as BlingSIM, wants everyone to be able to buy, install and manage an eSIM on our website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which is also the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act, the UK Equality Act 2010 and the US Americans with Disabilities Act.
2. Conformance status
Conformance status
The BlingSIM website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. The known exceptions are listed in section 4, and we are working through them.
3. What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the main content of each page is a labelled landmark.
- Form fields have visible or screen-reader labels, and error messages in checkout and the free eSIM form are announced.
- Most buttons and links have a touch target of at least 44 by 44 pixels; a few small text links do not yet (listed under known issues).
- Body text and informational small text are designed to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against the dark background.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate them; long policy pages have an "On this page" table of contents.
- Wide data tables scroll inside their own region and are reachable by keyboard, instead of forcing the whole page to scroll sideways.
- Icons that carry no information are hidden from assistive technology; icon-only buttons have a text name.
- The site respects your "reduce motion" setting for most animations, and works at 200% zoom and on small phone screens.
- eSIM QR codes always come with a text activation code, so you are never dependent on scanning an image, and iPhone users get a one-tap install link in their delivery email.
- Our own colour choices, components and pages are checked with automated tools and by manual keyboard and screen-reader testing before release.
4. Known issues
We know about the following problems and are working to fix them:
- There is no "skip to content" link yet, so keyboard users must Tab through the header links on every page.
- Some pop-up dialogs (for example the device checker and coverage list) do not yet keep keyboard focus inside the dialog, so pressing Tab can move focus to the page behind it. Pressing Escape closes them.
- The scrolling strip of destination links on the homepage pauses when you hover over it, but does not yet have a visible pause button.
- A few decorative animations (an animated plane and pulsing markers) may still play when "reduce motion" is switched on.
- Some older blog articles contain images without a descriptive text alternative and headings that skip a level.
- Country flag images are decorative but are not consistently marked as such on every page.
- The plan pages load prices and coverage after the page opens; the loading state is not always announced to screen readers.
- A few small text links (for example inline links inside policy text and some footer links) have a touch target smaller than 44 by 44 pixels.
If one of these stops you from buying or using an eSIM, contact us (section 6) and we will help you complete the task another way.
5. Third-party pages
Payment is completed on pages run by Stripe, PayPal, Aurexio (and the PayPal, Stripe or Airwallex scripts it loads) and OxaPay. Those pages, and the QR code images generated by our eSIM provisioning partner, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard. If a payment page does not work for you, email us and we will suggest another payment method.
6. Feedback and alternative formats
- Email support@blingsim.comwith the subject "Accessibility", or write to BlingSIM, Registered address available on request from support@blingsim.com. Please tell us the page address and what went wrong. We reply within 24 hours on business days and aim to fix accessibility problems as a priority.
- If you need any of our policies, your order confirmation or your eSIM activation details in another format (for example large print or plain text), ask us and we will provide it free of charge.
7. Enforcement
If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the body responsible for accessibility complaints where you live. In the UK that is the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS); in EU countries it is the market-surveillance or consumer authority designated under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882); in the United States you can file a complaint with the Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
8. Technical information
The website relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript to work with assistive technologies and browsers. It is tested with recent versions of Safari (iOS and macOS, with VoiceOver), Chrome and Edge (with NVDA on Windows and TalkBack on Android) and Firefox. This statement was prepared on 23 September 2026 based on a self-assessment with automated checks and manual testing. See also our Help Center and installation guide.
